Reinventing Michigan
Creating, promoting and implementing legislation that will help the economy recover and re-employ our citizens has been my priority. Despite these difficult economic times though, I have not forgotten the other priorities of the 69th: promoting education; protecting the environment and pursuing more reliable funding for public safety services.
Below is a description of some of the legislation that I have been involved with as your Representative. Many of these legislative initiatives resulted from conversations, emails and phone calls from the citizen of the 69th District.

- Decrease sales tax to 5%
- Expand sales tax to services
- End business tax exemptions that are not producing jobs

Investing In Education
- Devote 75% of sales tax revenues to School Aid Fund

"Mark Meadows has not hesitated to take a pro-active position about meaningful environmental legislation, even if it's not the most popular position. He does this because he stands by his convictions, and he knows what is right for the public good."
